Charity concert!
Welcome to the website of Serious Concert.
Serious Concert is a concert to raise funding for charity and took place on Tuesday the 21st of December 8.15 p.m. in Muziekgebouw Frits Philips in Eindhoven. It is an initiative of Eindhovens Studenten Muziek Gezelschap Quadrivium, the classical music association of TU/e students.

3FM DJ Annemieke presents Serious Concert
Annemieke Schollaardt, every week on air with the radio show 'Annemiek Hier' on 3FM public radio, will present Serious Concert. Schollaardt was one of the three Serioius Request DJs in Groningen in 2009.

Stevie Ann will perform at Serious Concert. In her songs influences of country, folk and pop can be heard, but they are dynamically shaped around Stevie’s phenomenal voice and vibe, which is warm and welcoming.

Jenny Lane sings her songs straight from her heart, natural, authenticand with a goosebumps-inducing nonchelanche.

Do will perform with Quadrivium's wind orchestra for the Serious Request Charity! In 2009 Do was a guest in the 3FM Glass House in Groningen. This year she asks for attention for the silent victims of HIV and Aids in Africa from her birth place Eindhoven.

Het Brabants Orkest part of Serious Concert
Besides the combo and Quadrivium's wind orchestra, the professionals of Het Brabants Orkest also signed for filling the Serious Concert program. Het Brabants Orkest plays before the break, conducted by Jan Stulen.
Charles Green conducts Bigband Studentproof
Bigband Studentproof plays at the drink directly following the Serious Concert in the Foyer of the Muziekgebouw. Over the years and under the inspiring leadership of famed trumpettist Charles Green, Studentproof has grown to be a semi-professional jazz orchestra, which regularly performances at (international) jazz festivals.

AbSurdo brings a southern athmosphere to the Muziekgebouw
Percussion Group AbSurdo will work with Quadrivium to bring everyone in a southern mood. Latin-American sounds by the orchestra will be mixed with the exotic rythms of AbSurdo.
