The young composer Dennis Hazenoot wrote the piece Agitatrix specifically for the eleventh lustrum of the Eindhovens Student Music Association Quadrivium. This piece is very unique because it was written for a combined performance with wind orchestra, symphony orchestra and choir. The lyrics were inspired by the motto of the University of Technology Eindhoven “Mens Agitat Molem” or “Mind moves matter”.

Besides the premiere of Agitatrix, the three ensembles (in total about 140 enthusiastic student) also played many other classical piece of Dutch origin including pieces of Hendrik Andriessen and Eduard de Boer.

The second concer of this project, in the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven, was cancelled, because of the Corona epidemic of 2020. This performance is currently still planned for the fall of 2021.
